is it critical that the vavle cover breather be run into the air cleaner?
i'm considering running it to the plug in mt #6 intake runner. does it help the engine to distribute the breater across all cylinders or not?

The valve cover breather (air inlet) should be ducted to the air cleaner or vented directly to atmosphere. Do NOT run it to the intake tract, that would spoil everything. Your crankcase needs an air inlet (breather) and an air outlet (PCV valve and hose, which should be connected to the intake tract at a central location -- base of carb, new tap into the intake manifold's central plenum.)

Got it!
i thought the inward draw of the carb had the valve cover breather working as an exhaust, not an intake.

thank u!
my 1st car, a '62 falcon, always had a lot of fumes coming out of that hose. i always thought of it backwards i guess.
