What is the correct color for the black hoods on the mopars that were painted a color, and had a black hood?

I spent a couple minutes looking through my Dupont Paint Chip book and they actually don't list a black-out color code.
I use black semi-gloss, not too flat, not too shiny! Any shade on "flatness" can be ordered from any paint supplier and from any paint manufaturer. I actually have the flat additive on my mixing bank for Sikken's paint line for doing house doors.
As for a code to give you, sorry no such thing that a paint store would be able to cross over.

Are you talking about the "blackout" hood-top treatment that was available on certain vehicles in the late '60s to early '70s?

The proper finish is "Organisol". :D
