Can anyone tell me the difference between Fel Pro KS2103 and FS7918PT4? I called Rock Auto and they have the best price but I looked at the set contents and cant see any difference, othe than 42 vs 64 bucks.

Sorry in advance for not answering your question but have you checked you Northern Auto Parts? Their set-up kind of makes it weird to navigate (for me) but the prices are crazy. I ordered a couple different sets and they are all name brands.

FS = Full Set. Includes everything to put the engine together and the ancillaries (carb mounting gaskets, air cleaner gaskets, spark plug tube seals, EGR gaskets, air injection hosepipe junction gaskets, etc.)

KS = Builder's set. Includes everything to assemble the long block, plus a manifold gasket set, but no ancillaries.

FYI,

I've noticed in the past when I've bought gasket kits like the timing cover kit, etc... it's just cheaper to pony up the extra $20 and get the KS2103, it sure has saved money later when I needed to change somethinge else out (or help someone else out and not have to wait for a gasket kit on order...)

Boy I agree. I just couldnt figure looking at the pictures the $20 difference. I thought they might have been different grades. Ill probally get the FS but Im running a 4 BBL and headers W/ Aussie gasket on the intake, so I may just get the KS. Ill have to dig thru the gasket pile and see whats left.
Cheapest price so far is 39.88 @ Advance for KS2103 or 64.89 @ Rock for the FS. I tryed Northern but couldnt get just the gaskets to come up so may try calling them.
BTW when you add $10 for shipping to Rock Auto its the same as Advance for the FS.
Hoping to have the engine ready to go in the cuda by the 15th.
