My FSM has yet to arrive for my 63 Valiant, but I have a question in the meantime. Today I ordered a new package tray from REM after a lengthy discussion with them, and forgot to ask about another item. I couldn't find replacements for what I need in their online catalog. Just above the floor on both sides of the rear seat (four door car), there appears to be a kick panel shaped somewhat like a triangle. Both of them in my car are crumbling and falling apart. I think it wouldn't be that difficult to make my own replacements. Anyone done it before?

I haven't done that, but here's one APPROACH, incorporating speaker enclosures.
