I am getting ready to compose a letter to the powers that be, at the Woodburn track to justify having a points race at their track this year, end of June and or mid-August.

Need to get a count of who would make it to either or both events, driver/crew, spectators. Cost has been $50 car/driver , $25 crew/spectator for the weekend. Both events are 2 day events. Camping is available on track and there are motels close by.

Defintley will be there points or not.

I was trying to get a rough count to back up the request for a points race.With the 4 off the board and the ones that have been there Dave & all his 3, Our retired marine enginer plus Glen and the Swinging six group. That would make about 11-12 cars.
Now all we have to do is get them to give us a time on the Sat to run our race

would like us to print ladders for you we certainly can do that, just

us what parameters you wish to use for qualifying and we will set the

I have talked to Seymore and he will include this race in the next news letter.

The track will not care what year cars are for the slant six race, that will be held Sat Aug 9. But only '72 and older cars can run with the Inline/Flathead race on Sun Aug 10.
From my phone conversation with the track owner, we will be given the JR dragster gate to run out of for our race.
