Well, the guy that had the Clifford intake WITH carb and air cleaner sold it before I moved on it. I'll still keep my eyes open though. I really do like the idea of a good prize like that for new racers to help them get started.

OK the manifold is in so that part of the prize is a go. Part # 4532057.

I will clean it up and get a picture of it and find a way to post it here. All the blot holes look good and it looks to be in good shape.

What do you think. All single barrel entries or maybe include the cast iron 2bbl guys as well???

If I can come up with a good carb I will include it.

Tom

I'd say give it to a 1bbl person. Sounds great.

I think it should go to newbie 1 bbl guys as well. The more "turn-key" you can make it the better for someone doing their first upgrades. If you could include a good carb and possibly some linkage that would make it even better. Another cool thing, since you happen to have the capability in-house and are sponsoring the race, would be to powder coat the intake! :D

1 bbl guys it is!

I had thought of coating it but I am not sure who is going to win it and what color they would want. I wouldn't want to coat it some wild color they hate and then they have to spend time re-doing it.

That was a good event last year, this one should be great as well. I would advise anyone coming for the first time to wash your car though lest ye be deaf to snickers.

Ok the shirt deal is looking better and better.

I need an idea on head(shirt) count. If you are thinking or planning on attending please let me know. You can either respond here or shoot me an email. Also let me know what shirt size and that will help me decide on what to have printed up.

If you know of someone not on the internet please let them know as well.

All drivers and anyone contributing to the purse and/or prizes will get one free. There might be a few extra available at cost...it will depend on how the printing works out.

I won't be going racing, but if its a Slant 6 racing shirt, are you willing to ship them if I pay shipping? If so, I'll be in for at least 1 XL, maybe 2!

Yes. I can do that and as soon as I know a cost I will let those interested know so they can make a decision before I order the shirts.
