Rob, I just saw your post, and I can't tell you how it snuck past me so I feel bad you could not get in on the action so I'll post a couple pics for you.

Well, I can't view the photos, but if you have a Notchback, I love it! I've wanted one ever since I saw Stan Aiton's with a Hyper Pak waaay back in 1991 or so. I'll have one some day... It's just too bad about those hideously unsafe headlights on your car. What were you thinking man!

Slixer's Gallery would be a good place to put your photos. I can move this thread over there if you'd like me to.

Thanks cudaspaz! I should have clarified not being able to view the photos. I check in at work and most things are filtered. I try to check in from home every so often so I can actually see the photos that are posted, etc. I'll make it a point to check in from home so I can see your notchback, even if it does have those hideously unsafe headlights.

By the way, are you a member of NGMC? I keep my membership current even though I haven't lived in Stockbridge since June 2004. Great bunch of folks!

Yep,

I sure am.

I hope to take the dart to the big Landmark or hayes shows this summer.

Bring it down to Valdosta, on Memorial Day Weekend. South Georgia Motorsports Park. Drag race, swap meet, and car show. Includes a Slant Six Race, with a $1,000 purse.

I don't know Charlie,

I don't think I want to be racing this car especially in stock form and no go fast mod's.

You know it's a good way to break things, and broken things cost money, and wifey poo don't like when hubby poo breaks things that cost money.

I think I'm just gonna baby this car and treat it like a lady, now the cuda on the other hand will be my beater ride.

Pretty or not, that thing is gonna get romped on from time to time.

A group of the NGMC guys will likely cruise down there together. You could cruise down there with them, show your car and they used to let show cars make a "parade lap" on the drag strip.

You could always enter the bracket race and still baby it and treat it like a lady :D You'd be sand baggin', but it's one way to get in on the action, still take care of your car, and maybe win some money. 8)

Sounds great, but I still say racing it is not an option as I don't think this car would be quick enough in stock form to take a prize in the go fast category, but I'd definitely be game to cruise down with some other guys, especially since my luck would probably leave me stranded half way there on the side of the road.

I'd need the other guys to save my butt. :D

You don't have to be fast to win bracket races, just consistent! When my '72 Dart was still a Slant 6 and completely stock I won a few Friday Night "Trophy Dash" awards with it running high 19s in the quarter mile. It drove some of the faster guys crazy having a "really slow" car that cost $1,500 beating their Mega Buck sub 10 second drag cars, but I was the one with the trophy :D

Seriously though, you should really consider entering the bracket race. You can honestly go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable with and will meet some really great folks in the process. Besides, Charrlie needs some more support for the points race after last year's low attendance because of the fires down there.

Oh,... I'm finally using my home computer (it's 3:00 am) so I can see your photos....   That Notchback is absolutely awesome! (even if it does have funky headlights  ) Beautiful car!

Thanks.

My buddy will be running his 440, 67 Dart this year at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

It is street legal, but I'm sure he will be trailering it.

I will probably follow him in my dart unless I can borrow a truck to trailer the b'cuda for the project car portion of the show.
