I'm accumulating parts for my /6 build and am looking for a timing chain right now. Is a double roller necessary when building a hot /6? If so, where can you buy them? I haven't seen any other than the stock type chains.

Also, I assume a double roller fits just fine under the stock timing cover and fits on the same as a stock unit?

Thanks

Double roller will be more durable and if you run a big cam with Higher valve spring pressures probably a wise investment.

Here are some options

and they fit under a stock cover.
