It seems like yes!
I was actually looking to grind the ridge just behind the valve seat and I just couldn't find it! :?
Can you tell me judging by theses pictures if it's been ported or not?

Doesn't look ported to me. Just a good casting.

Thanks guys,

And on the third picture, does it look like a crack to you?

So now, where can I mildly port this head? I can't see any ridge behind the seat so that leaves me with the valve guide for the bowl area. Is it ok to grind the valve as well as the boss? Should I just make it flush with the floor?

Thanks again,

Marc

Nope not a crack, I've seen two of those casting flaws I assume it's where the crack formed in the sand and such and such. It takes a little bit to get rid of it but I cut right through it with no leaks. Nope there isn't any porting there, but it's a nice looking head if you just want to strap it on. You can port it your self with a couple tools and a free weekend, I fully encourage people to try this. Here's some help....
