I'm using my FSM to make sure this thing is put together right.

For the Valiant, it shows a spacer that goes onto the plate welded to the LCA, then the Bumper mounts over the top of it.

I have no such spacer. Is the spacer critical?

The rubber was completely gone on my LCA's. Is the absence of the spacer responsible for that?
