68Barracuda--there is no web address for erson that will help you out. Erson left Mr. Gasket about a year ago, and stopped selling directly to the public and supplying to engine builders and racers. That is what started this whole thing--I had tried to buy through Summit and other places and couldn't track them down. Finally I called directly and the rest is history.

I see you're in South Africa, so you might want to ask Juan about how he got a cam to Argentina.

Like Chris said, the link has the right info. Its also sticky in the Parts for Sale section http://www.slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27207

Mikk all things are possible, give Tom a call. They do sell lifters, springs, keepers along with the cam if you want them.

Started putting my new motor together with the Erson Cam. Everything looks great. The Cam, Lifters, Springs, Retainers all are high quality at a great price. I cannot wait to get this engine in the car.

FYI:

Tom said the prices posted are from the first group buy a year ago; since then lifters have gone up a bit. Please add $11.56 to the price of packages with lifters!

He seems like a good fellow to deal with deal with; he's having my cam ground up today or tomorrow and shipped out for a very reasonable price.

I wander if he can grind a cam to these specs.

Intake Exhaust
valve lift - .596 .534
lobe lift - .398 .356
dura @ 50 - 242 248
Center line - 110 110

What would be the most agressive lobe he could do with this also?

Thanks Jess

I just designed a "race only" cam with Erson, using some of their "fast rate" .340 lift Mopar profiles.
The lobes are the F286 on the intake and the F282 on the exhaust.
Lift is .510 (1.5 rocker ratio)
The cam I had made is on a 106 L/C
This type of cam will need a lot of static compression. You will need forged pistons, good head flow and a mechanically strong assembly for it all to "work".

Doc and I have different definition of "race only."

That's almost exactly the same cam specs I have in my street/roadrace/drag/24mpg '64 Dart... He's right about the compression - 10:1 minimum.
