Ok, so I found a fellow locally who has a pair of shock mount studs that are the right size for my application. I'm going to pick them up tonight. The plan is to cut off the existing studs, drill a hole in the right spot and bolt them in. Is this the right way to do it or do I need to have the studs welded in place? Welding is something I can't do, so if I can get away with simply bolting them in I'm golden.

Thanks in advance,

Nat

If you can drill the hole, by all means bolt them in. :D

A drill I can work. A welder..... Let's just say I've welded once and I managed to flash myself twice.
