I wonder if gas ever gets caught at that bump at the bottom. Thats the first time Ive seen one like that.

Same here. All the filler tubes I've ever seen in an A body have been straight. I'm wondering if it's due to the fact that this is a Space Duster and allows for a load more trunk space.

Yes, that pipe is strictly used to allow the fold down rear panel to actually fold down... very common in 1973-1976 Duster/Dart Sports...

Car looks like it's in good shape... :)

Yeah it blew my mind with how good of shape it's in mechanically. The slant idles even smoother than the fuel injected L6 in my Toyota. It needs some serious cosmetic work though (lots of small surface rust lesions all over the body, and cancer in the quarter panels) and I'll be starting on the interior this summer since it'll be torn apart for me to install a new transmission tunnel and new gauges.
