What processes have you guys used to check if they should be replaced?

Leaks are obvious, but I rescued this from the crusher so it wasn't a running vehicle.

At first I was just going to replace them but with a budget, why do that if they're ok.

I know brake fluid attracts moisture so is there a rust issue for a vehicle that has sat with the system open? it is an AZ car.

Thanks in advance

I replaced every piece of hard line on my Dart for about $30~$35. I did do my own bending and flaring though. For me it was really cheep insurance.
