thinkin of swapin dash pads on my 72 and 73 a bodies. i take it there glued down and cliped... i would rather not go to town wit a pry bar. hints?

They are neither glued nor clipped on, they are held on with 5 speed nuts across the top and 2 bolts one on each end.

It is easiest to take out the gage cluster and glove box but not mandatory.

ill prolly do the glove box, but gettin that gauge cluster out is a bitch, ive done it too many times recently, i dont really wanna drop the column a lil again

sigh... well i ended up pullin the cluster, i dont think i coulda getton those last nuts w/out... at first i thought u were makin a joke about the speed nuts when i was under there. thinkin damn ive been at this one nut for how long, this sure is speedy. up until i got ONE off did i realize your reference to those crappy stamped nuts. too bad theres those huge cutouts in the dash, kinda looks nice w/out the pad
