Hi all,

Based on the markings on the mains and rod bearings below, I am guessing that the forged crank I have was ground .010 prior to me getting it. Is this correct?

Rod Bearing markings:
FM
2375 RA
010 US
DX

Main Bearing markings:
FM
23776A
US 0-010

Thrust Bearing markings:
FM
2378SA
U-010
GO

The marking sure look like the bearings are .010 undersize.
What does your micrometer or caliper read?

The caliper measurements are my next step. I have a couple of crappy calipers, so I gotta be careful with my measurements.

Your instincts were right, Doc. I mic'ed the crank, and it was .010 under.

Thanks
Greg
