Bought a Granny 74 dart the other day,green 4 door,white top,butt ugly in my opinion,want to get it running as good as I can before selling it,most of the smog stuff is gone,hoses on carb going nowhere,plugged a few,runs very good but not right,Dont know where to plug lines ,or the best way to by pass the stuff that isnt needed,air cleaner has all ready been modified,no fittings,too many fittings on this carb,what is the best way to simplefy this,canister out of the car,ANYONE?mark

Sounds like this thing has been hacked up... from that description we won't be able to tell you much. What carb is on there? Maybe best to take some pics.

Did all that,car idels perfect,runs exellent, just has a vibration in drive with foot on brake,smooths right out while driveing,mounts seem good and u joints feel tight,smooth at 70,mark

I removed everything off my 74, it is just basic and stable. They came with 1945 Holley's. I through mine away do to massive vacuum leaks and am running a 1968-72 Holley 1920 Economaster.
I could send you some pictures if you would like a few or details on routing hoses.

Power Brakes?

If so, the brake booster might be faulty causing a lean mixture to #6
