hello, i'm a new member, was introduced to you guys by slantzilla.
i just bought a 65 valiant 100,sl6, 3-speed on tree,witha bench seat.
the problem i need solved is my carb needle was stuck, but carb needed reuilding. so i got it done but noticed that the throttle linkage only opens the carb maybe a third or quarter! am i missing any parts? old owner had a piece of vacuum hose with a hose clamp on it.

please help me out or give me idea to make open all the way.....
also i'm use to working on high performance boats with v8's, so looking
for good hop up ideas. :o

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

hey, david.

thanks for the info, to make it work i did just about the same thing.
i went to my napa store and was searching the"help section" on the racks
and found the pedal & shift rod bushings, had one fit directly on the "d"
side, and then their was a thicker one to fit the square side. the parts only cost $6.00. i'll still look into this part to make it correct, but don't know how long i'll keep the one barrell on it. so thanks again.

thanks dale 8)
