Hi folks,

Release schedule for the all new Slant 6 long-runner intake is Late April 2008... we have been trying to keep it under wraps until all pre-casting issues have been resolved.

I have provided links below for manifold options for those who wish to pre-order & I can also advise that this intake will be available in the following flange patterns :

2-BARREL
http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunsho ... ail&p=2556

4-BARREL
http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunsho ... ail&p=2555

BLOWER (EATON M90)
http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunsho ... ail&p=2557

I have received pricing on shipping to the US, prices are as follows :
AIRMAIL (7-10 Days) : $125 AUD
SEAMAIL (4-6 Weeks) : $75 AUD

Please be advised that a seperate water heated plenum adaptor will be made available in the near future as an optional extra. Thank you all for your support of our new products, we look forward to your feedback.

Awesome!

I suspect the number of Supercharged slants will be increasing here in the States with that manifold becoming available.

Let me be the first to say "Excellent work! Thank you!"

Supercharger intake?! I didn't hear anything about a supercharger version! Now I've gotta rethink my plan!!!!

Will you be offering any support parts for this application, like pulleys, brackets, etc., or will we be on our own? I only know of one M90 slant — are there more examples you can direct us to?

Thanks for offering much-needed options for the slant! I'll be placing an order soon...

How much does an M90 run - Ball park? My wife is gonna kill me, I can see that already! Also with a divided plenum does the 4bbl version mount the carb in the traditional position or do the primaries face the engine?

I checked the 'bay, and saw them for less than $500 rebuilt, including core charge. They seem to be plentiful... :)

Excellent! I may have to order one once I get the Dart running on my current setup - and it's now making a bit more progress now that I have it back at work rather than in the shop.

Do some research on the M-90 blower. I don't know for a fact, but I think, you cannot mount a carb on the inlet of the blower. I don't think that blower can be run "wet". That would mean port fuel injection, is required.

The blower can be run wet, but the inlet for every M90 I've ever seen in this country is in the back of the blower and the outlet is on the top or bottom. You can orient the blower either way, but the Ford 3.8V6 where most of these M90s come from in the US has the outlet on top. Again, you can turn the blower over and have the outlet on the bottom, but the inlet is still in the rear.

I think the fine print mentions that the images depict the blower manifold...

Suddenly, Blowing my Slant dosn't look so hard. With the Eaton M90 being such a well known SC, rebuilds shouldn't be hard to come by.

To bad this wasn't when Astraila's exchange rate was something like $2 Aus to $1 US
