I picked up a rebuilt T5 from http://www.thompsontransmission.com/ today. Good price, nice guy, knows his cars and T5s inside and out.

Lou, the bellhousing adapter fits this tranny like a glove. Thanks for the great work in engineering, and then putting together the group buy. I think I owe you a beer or two when I see you next. I do have one question:

What size bolts are used to fasten the bellhousing to the transmission?

Glad to hear it. Bolts should be 7/16" coarse thread. Use Grade 8.
