Hey Tom,

Any word on those T-shirts yet? I can't make it to the race, but I'd like to buy some shirts for the Simmons Clan. :D

Hi Rob,
We are working on it but vynn3 is working a lot of overtime right now but thinks he can still get me a few designs to choose from in time. If not I can certainly bring some DCI shirts/hats and give them out instead.

No matter which direction we go I will make the Simmons clans is well dressed for their next swim meet!

Tom

Thanks Tom! :D

We'd be proud to wear the DCI shirts/hats if the others don't work out.

Tom, is there a TnT on Friday? What time? I'm still trying to make it, but the way the price of gas is going, it is iffy.

Anyone going to Farmington, want to split a motel room? Can someone recommend a motel? If nothing goes wrong, I am planning on getting there on Friday. Probably leave on Sunday. Going to bring my 66 Valiant, and try to take some of Tom's record money. Car can run "B" or "C" nitrous, depending on whether there is a spare in the trunk. Anyone interested in keeping it from me? :)

Charrlie - I spoke with Dad yesterday and he going to bring his scales with him so that we know you will have a way to weigh the car for both records so bring the biggest bottle you got!

I have ordered the shirts so they should be ready for the event. I took a guess at the number of racers we would have based on past years and also took into account the people who expressed interest on here. Once all of them are taken care of then I will make what is leftover available to the general public.

Keep an eye on the weather and remember this is a one day event. I will not make an attempt to re-schedule or run on Sunday so it is a one shot deal. Farmington is really good at drying the track and reallllly trying to get the race in no matter what.

Hope to see everyone there....

Tom

Tom
Boy, I sure hate it when people try to keep me honest. :P
Should have about 50 lbs of ET in a bottle.

I did a little more to the car, but won't know how it works out, till I get there. Don't have time to get to the track, this weekend.

Tom, do you know the altitude, at the track?

"Tom, do you know the altitude, at the track?"

I would guess 1100-1200'. That should be pretty close. I will double check that for you.

I saw where NOS was $4.50/# at the local speed shop! Not sure if that was cheaper or more $$$ than local for you but keep it in mind.

I just went to the welding supply store today. Tom is the guy I usually deal with. To make a long story short, I got a big tank (like an oxigen bottle) for $92. Filled two tanks, today, and will fill two more tomorrow. Hope it doesn't rain. I keep watching weather dot com.

Tom,

I will be there for sure! But I don't have my Duster in running condition yet. This winter and spring have been conspiring against me. I plan on showing up and supporting the slant racers anyway. I might race my truck in Street class. Anyway, I hope to see everyone there!

I'm going too, but may bring my 65 V8 instead. The slant's running like crap and I'm running out of time...
Can I run as an honorary slant since it's going to be converted back soon?

Yeah, yeah, I know, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
