HI Guys: Our group from the North State are getting ready to "swarm" on Medford. Thanks CJ and Joshua for "rounding up the troops" from your area. David will get there early on Friday and "rope off" the prefered track side area for all slant6 cars...Will try to hold the shaded area under the Oak trees for tent campers...They are having Friday night races so any of you that want to come on Friday can testntune or time trials or run in the sportsman class..just like last year. Remember, I am buying Saturday night at the BBQ..(just kidding..Jim the owner of the track is buying.) This is a great weekend of racing, nostalgia gassers, live music, car show...BE THERE..See you soon, Wayne/Aric/David/Glen/Sergio/Edd/Dana et al

Allen and I are looking forward to the up-coming races and we are working like mad to get the cars ready.
That's right, if all goes well, we tow the race car to Medford, race that weekend, then leave the Lancer in Redding on the way home. Come back for it and race the next weekend in Redding.
All this means that both cars have to be in "tip-top" condition in order to run both event with no "tweak time" time in-between.

Ceej and myself will be there, Friday don't know what time. That will depend on what time we leave and don't know if Paul will be with us.

Paul needs to come. I still owe him lunch for the cop car dog dish! What time should I be at CJ's house? I'm almost embarrassed that I've done nothing to my car since last September except for the 8 1/4 rear end. Once my distributor o-rings are here I'll at least have electronic ignition!

Anybody that wants to travel in the southbound swarm, arrive at my place in Halsey around 7:30 Friday morning. We'll motor down to Fopar's and hit I-5. If we need to adjust the departure time for anybody, let me know right away.
Anybody that wants to ride down for the weekend, contact me, and we'll find you a place to ride!

We'll be driving home Sunday. Keep in mind that Fopar and I are running fairly short gears, so the speed will be in the 50-60 range, unless Fopar's tea kettle starts whistling again! It shouldn't with an early start.

Shoot me a message if you need directions.

CJ

Fate has handed me some bad cards recently in terms of the Duster getting on the road. If I can finish up the fourlink I'll be down there for a full day or so assuming we can finish the turning this last piece. We made adjustable coilovers essentially out of some old steel tube by cutting the threads on our lathe. Will yesterday the lathe sliced a gear right in half, so wish us luck.

Can you post some pictures of your project?
Think we all would like to see what you are building.

You really need to come visit us at Champion Raceway in Medford, even if you hitch a ride down with one of the other members of the Killer Bee team. You will "bee" glad you did. :D
