I'll be there!

The Other Rob is hoping to make the trip! :D

I'm not going to listen to the 3.50 gears spinning the engine up all the way to Redding, so need to swap to my 2.80's tonight or tomorrow. I also need some tires that'll hold onto the track this time! Spinning through the 60' is not getting me anywhere.

Thanks Fopar for the Loan of your tires for the weekend!

I'll need to do something to stay in front of Tristan.

That'd be the green 1bbl Lancer sitting next to Randy's Hyperpak car, right?

We just got in. Rob rolled his Dart north a few minutes ago headed for Salem. Just 40-some easy miles. I hope he's awake for his exit!

Only got 79 photos this trip on the camera, and one video.

Time to hit the sack! G'night, er, morning!

What a great weekend! Wicked/Six and I both entered the 16 second realm! :D

We had 17 slant6 cars show up for the two day race..CJ will post some photos as well as Doug..Perfect weather and most ran fast...Our first time out car (1962 Valiant with a 170 motor) ran good for about 10 runs. The best time was a 12.98 at 102+...Had some oiling problems but we will fix and return again...
A big thanks to Randy (RDJ) for a great... great team BBQ after Saturday's racing...Jessica and Andrew had another BBQ at the track on Sunday...
Still tired from the weekend so will write a full slant6 report later...Thanks CJ, Richard, Rob, Andrew/Jessica and many others for making our team such a success...
This car count will make those "Southern Boys" pay attention...Later from Killer Bee headquarters...

Yes, another fun weekend of good friends and racing.
It was great to see your new race car, also Ed & PJ brought-out their "new" racer, that car is a work of art!

We need to ralley the rest of the team to run better time slip "packages" so we can knock ET "robot man" Glen Terry out of the winner's circle... yes, he won, again!
We even put a $100.00 "hit" out on him and no-one could collect.
My son Allen had a shot at him, cut a .007 RT but Glen nosed him at the finish line when the wagon ran slow.
I had a shot at Glen and the $100.00 in the semi-finals but broke-out catching him at the finish line... he put a .028 RT on me.

Anyway... we made it home safe so I will try to post some photos tonight.

Don't forget about our Queen Bees. My 21 year old daughter Amy was driving my car. She had a blast on Saturday. She told me how nice people were to her, and so helpful. She kicked herself for leaving .003 too early in the bracket race. Now she is asking about the Sacramento Raceway. She has the bug. And I was pleased with her 17.72 at 77mph, for my daily driver car. As I drove it to work today, somehow it was more fun, knowing what it did on the track. Can't wait to add the Dutra system.

Glen Terry may have won the big event on Sunday. But I got the photo I didn't think I would ever see. And that is his car being pushed off the line on Saturday. I think that was a ploy, to give everyone some false hope for Sunday - lol.....

And next time, she wants to race Jessica. Hopefully we can make that trip.

I have some photos, but can't post them. Hopefully I can get them to Wayne soon, and he can post the ones he wants, if he wants to.

I will try to have a video for those that made the Saturday event.
