I know you can get the parts to make your own at Summit.

McMaster Carr probably has the parts too.

Great idea. Do you think it will be too stiff, or unproductive in some way to eliminate all of the "squish" in the links? Will that make the suspension to twitchy, or sensitive in some way? I have been driving it without any say bars on it for a few days, and it is not as bad as you might think. I do have heavy torsion bars.

I've been using urethane endlinks and center bushings which are supposed to be close to solid and don't think it's too stiff...........

I was running heims on Project V for about 3 yrs w/no trouble. Upgrading the '64 to a tubular sway and heims sometime this Summer/Fall. I just bought heims from Summit and fabbed up my own brackets. Used 7/16" heims on the V, and may go to 1/2" on the Dart?

Don't think I ever took any of the front sway, and it's off the car at the moment. Heck, I'll have a different setup on there when I put it back together...

I need someone to follow me around and take pics. When I'm working on the car, I just don't feel like spending time snapping pics. What can I say??

I'll take some next time it's in one piece, or maybe I can snap some of the disconnected bar/links and the mount points...

Lou

That would work for me. I'm just curious to see how you did it and that would be good enough.

Thanks!

Wow, Thanks for not teasing me on that one. I had just written my Mom an e-mail, And it was late. Of course, I do love you guys, but would not likely have said it that way normally. I am suprised someone didn;t at least say,"No you can;t have my Bud lite"

I just figured it was a slip, and if people have ignored (or missed) the slip-ups I have made I can return the favor.

I've made some similar, face to face, doozies that I would like to forget, and that nobody pointed out.

BTW, I would edit it, just to clean things up (if it were me). :D

It's out there now Man. It's in the akashic record for all eternity. If I were a politician, I would edit it, deny it, say someone else actually wrote it, redfine the meaning of "is", etc. But alas, I am not a politician. It is what it is.
