Can you put 1/2" studs in place of 7/16" on a 7 1/4" rear?

If the knurl is small enough you may be able to retap the holes and put 1/2" screw in studs in. I don't think you can get 1/2" press-ins that will work w/o redrilling the holes larger.

What's wrong with using 7/16th press-ins? :D

There is nothing wrong with my 7/16 studs.

The real problem is that the Anston Sprints I bought only came with 17 7/16" lug nuts and about 10 1/2" lug nuts. I am having a heck of a time finding this style lug nuts.

Did you check with summit? I got some mag style nuts for my wheels in 7/16.
Remember, if you are drag racing, most tracks require the stud be long enough to extend into the hex area of the nut by at least the diameter of the stud. Also the nuts must be open ended so the length of the stud can be checked. I had to put long studs in my 7 1/4 rear and get open ended lug nuts.
EDIT:

The studs I got are MOR-46150
One set of nuts are CLL-L5012, other set are SUM-7540102
You can go to Summit's web site put these numbers in search, and get the specs, to see if they are what you need.

I tried summit.
The lug nuts I need have a 1/2" shank that is 7/8" thick and a washer that is 1 3/16" in diameter
