Hi folks,

Great to here you got your intake safely Wayne, thanks for the feedback. We (PP&R & AUSSIEPSEED) are pleased to be able to offer the Slant 6 enthusiast community an intake manifold alternative, and to be totally honest... if I wasn't an avid SL6 enthusiast myself, it would not have happened. For the record, Aussiespeed have also developed a universal plenum de-icer for all it's inline engine intakes, this means it will adapt to the SL6 Hurricane without any trouble at all. You can find this item on our webstore, please follow this link : http://www.pentastarparts.com.au/sunsho ... ail&p=2645

The supercharger intake is bascially ready however we are going to sell this intake in kit form and I need a while to complete the development of the kit components. Unfortunately I am a very "time-poor" individual and this may take a couple of months, however rest assured that when they are ready, SL6.org will know about it ! :)

Thank again folks for your interest in our products, I hope to have more news soon !

Ray (Jr)

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the update on intakes. I'm definitely in for an M90 intake, and I'm interested as to what will be in your kit.

Would this maybe include a lengthened snout section for the M90 to line the pulley up with the Slant crank pulley? That is one piece I would need to find anyway. I'd be interested in belt/pulley setups too.

Also, since injector bungs are cast in, would it be possible to get them drilled for Bosch injectors and get a matching fuel rail? I am definitely going EFI, as I have on my other two Slant cars.

Thanks very much,

Lou

Aside note, what is this Hemi 6? I am new to the 6 cylinder world (less than a year) and when I clicked on the link provided I looked around and saw a Hemi 6?
This is a Hemi 6. They are Hemi in name only.

Cool looking motor. What is the difference between the slant 6 and the Hemi 6? Is the Hemi 6 head better, can I use it on a slant 6 block?

Sorry, the heads are definitely not interchangable. The Slant 6 and the Hemi 6 don't have much in common at all.

I think I want one of these intakes :) :) So, what gains have people got with this intake? Has anybody been able to use the m90 supercharger on one of these yet?

I would like to buy an M90 intake, but haven't gotten around to calling them yet. Don't think they're available yet. I have the M90 already...

I've e-mailed about the blower manifold and got a very short and not very informative reply. Basically I got "We're working on it." The didn't answer my questions "Will the US spec M90 from the Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe fit the manifold and is there a drive package available to suit?"

I know that they are selling just the 4 barrel hurricane intakes now, but, not the m90 hurricanes yet...can't wait! How will the hurricane w/m90 compare in performance to the slant six procharger setup? Probably costs a lot to ship overseas eh

I emailed the guy selling the hurricane intakes on ebay and here is his reply:

"Hi Increases can include.. Wider power band, even cylinder fill =more power, easier to tune, better air/fuel ratio through the rev range. Long runner & small plenum creates more air speed...super charger adapter can be purchased or complete super charger manifold available soon"
