I finished doing my disc brake conversion on my 65 valiant. all from a 75 valiant. so I got some bright red sneakers for it. they ar 17"x7" steelies from a chrysler 300. beauty rings and center caps from a mid 90 ford ranger. 245/45 on back and 215/45 on front. wheels, tires, rings, and caps, for $300.00. I like the outcome. but I know its not for everyone. sorry for the bad photo, but you get the idea.

I like! What year 300 donated the wheels? Were spacers required?

 That looks awesome.
I'd be pretty much drooling if that car drove by me.

the car rides great. I did all new bushings when I did the brake conversion. the wheels are from the newest body 300. and the tires a 245/45 in back and 215/45 in front. I needed a 8mm spacer on back to clear the 245 tire.

I was fairly certain the Chrysler LX cars had gone metric on the wheel bolt pattern and were 5 on 115mm not 5 on 4.5"/114.3mm. Is the center hole a precise fit?

I thought so, too, but I did some checking online (LX forums), and seems to be 5 x 114.3. I think they changed bolt patterns at some point.

yes they are 115mm. but the center bore is exact size. and we are talking only 7 tenths of a mm spread out over 5 holes.I have no vibration.

Personally, I love it! Oh course some of my favorite cars have been flat black with wide whitewalls on red steelies :)

That's a fantastic wheel and tire combo. Nice to see a Valiant with a creative set of shoes.
