OK all you east coast slanters next weekend is the race at North Wilkesboro. Lets see if we can have a 50 point race. I plan on being there on Friday if I get the tranny fixed by Monday. Remember the West Coast guys are laughing real hard at us with the turnouts we have been having with the exception of Valdosta. We have four good races left. N.W. ,Knoxville, Clay City and Bristol so lets start saving gas money and make as many races as possible. See you there. Norm

A good number of racers have confirmed they are going to be here. Its looking like we will have a good car count. Like Norm said we don't have many races left this year it will be a good time to get this Eastern crowd together and do some serous racing. Will there be another street car winner in NW this year? I'll be there, but I still don't know what car. As of Wed nite, the valiant still has a misfire, and I haven't raced the Cuda in two years. Weather doesn't look good for the track, tonite. That will leave Wed as my last chance before leaving. The Valiant will only misfire on a run. I can do a full stall test, and a 6,000 rpm burnout, with no problem. So I can't duplicate the problem at home.

I am going to be there, but it looks like I will be doing my shakedown runs at the track Saturday. I am still thrashing on the Duster but I will be there! Might even need some help tuning from someone.
But you know what, that don't bother me none!!!!! I can't wait to have some fun at the track!

I see 30% chance of rain, which is normal almost all Summer. We had the same forecast last week, and it was beautiful all weekend.

Michael, sorry to hear about your job. I will help with entry if you come and race a Slant 6 car. Joe, I will buy you a BBQ sandwich and some gas if you brave the chance of rain... Let's make this a big one!
