Well, we made it into yesterdays Eureka Reporter newspaper again!!! In the sports section!!! Great pic of Glen Terry's car, and on the next page, Glen lines up next to Doug's Vert!!!!

It is nice that the local paper did the follow-up article.

Here are some of the photos I took at the race, here is a shot of the "dutra parade" on the road:



I talked my wife Karin into coming, she had a good time dispite the long drive.



We had a good turn-out, here is a shot of our pit area.



It was nice to have Dave M. and his super clean and fast Valiant wagon at the race.

The Samoa track is right at sea level and right on the beach sand... cool and foggy mornings.





The Howards got paired-up in the first round



So did my kids... Allen won on Saturday, Kristi won the match-up on Sunday.



The Kidd continues to "fine-tune" his car...

My teens were "hard at work"... running the wheels off my cars!



What can I say....



Kristi had a "shot" at a $150.00 Glen Terry "bounty" in the second round but she could not run the number needed to beat him.



I think Fopar also had an unsuccessful shot at him.

Looks like a great time, Bees. I'm hoping to make one of these West Coast races next year - we'll see.

Congrats to Dave and Doug for setting/resetting records.

Off to Wilkesboro tomorrow and hoping for a big turnout too.
