After I jump start it, it charges about half way , but doesn't go all the way to ''C''. After a few minutes, it charges less. It will start up, if I turn it off and then restart. Also, when it is not running, if I honk the horn the ammeter doesn't move.If I turn the head lights on, it goes to discharge

That all sounds normal to me. With the engine off but the key on and you honk the horn does the ammeter gauge move?

I really think everything is ok apart from something draining the battery when not in use.

There was a good thread here somewhere about how to check whats causing the drain. Cant find it at the moment. But basically should check if there is current drain with your meter set on Amps, Then if there is - Try and isolate the cause. Pulling fuses one by one until the current stops flowing.

If you find one circuit that is drawing power it gives you a place to start looking! Good luck.

digger12,
When I honk the horn with the key on the ammeter stays steady. Checked for battery drain and everything looks O.K. I am starting to think it's the battery again, like 00spy suggested. I will get a new one today.
