Nice work. I think Seymour's white (street) car is around 2600.

Lou, I'm pretty sure it is lighter than that. He told me around 2400 a few years ago. He had to cut like crazy on his race car to get it down to 2100. Them old Lancer/Valiants are light man.

Looking Good!
Wow... 2440 lbs.... I got to get serious about taking more weight off of my Lancer, it is currently at 2650 lbs.
My guess is that a good 60 lbs of that weight is floor pan undercoating alone.
Does anyone out there want to scrap some undercoating?

OK, a search did not yield any background info on "guzzi" or "guzzi twin" that i could decipher, so other than weight, what is the story behind this build, and more specifically, the "look"?

1000lbs lighter than my car! That would just about put it into the 11s. Nice work. That hood bracing looks cool from the underside.

much respect to you for building such a light car and having the privilege of working so closely with doug dutra, but i still dont understand what the words "guzzi" and "twin" have to do with this car. i was hoping you could tell me, thats why i asked.
good luck on the track and i look forward to your updates.
