Ok so the other day I took the carb off and had it rebuilt, no problem there, but I can't for the life of me remember where this one spring goes :oops:
Yeah I should have taken before photos, but I didn't do that so I need some help ASAP :?

One more thing when I was putting the carb back on and was replacing the carb gasket, there were two of them on it? I took them both off and just put the one new one on, but is this right or not and why were there two on it?

It is for the kick down linkage tension.
It goes from the carb bell crank down to the end of the kick down stub shaft.
Check your manual for adjusting the lick down linkage.

Look at picture #3 right behind the starter you see the stub shaft sticking out with a small groove cut in it for the spring. The top attach point is above the red barrel connector. Look for a small hole in the clevis where the pin goes through the carb bell crank.
