Just wondering if anyone makes windshield & rear window gasket & trim for a '67 Valiant 2 door. Also need gasket for trunk. Would the gasket fit from a '68 with a little bit of windshiled sealant or would that leak?

The 67 is a one year gaket and trim ordeal, there is no 1967 gasket anymore nor any aftermarket trim, I recently went through this with my 67 front windsheild... the gasket they will get is for a '68 up. so you will need the clips and trim for a 1968+ valiant of the same type (4dr, sedan, etc..)

Yep, what DI said: Use the '68+ gasket and trim. It's just as well; the '67 wasn't a good setup (leaks and hassles)

Thanks for the feedback. I've found several places that sell the gasket but I'm having a heck of a time trying to find trim/mouldings for a 68+ Valiant/A-Body. Any Suggestions?

I am pretty sure your '67 windscreen seal is the same as our '67 windscreen seal.
If it is, they are still available in Australia, as they were used until '71 here on sedan, wagon, and ute. The hardtop used the style with the chrome molds.

Rayman440 from PP&R would be able to tell you for sure.

Did I understand right, that you could get 1968 windshield, gasket, trim and clips and put them all in a 1967 and before that get rid of 1967 stuff? 1968 will fit?

Isn't the windshield the same in 1967-1976? I'm talking about the sedan only.

Trim clips are only avaliable 1968 and up. What's the difference between 67 and 68 clips?

'67 clips are unavailable, while '68-up clips are available.

Thanks again, Dan!

Another question:

I have quite good windshield with the original gasket, no need to replace. I also have stainless trims, which I presume to be original. Is there used to be any trims/mouldings in 1967?

Trims are retained by few screws and sticky sealer compound. Could I use 1968 clips? I understood, that the clips are difficult, even impossible, to install without removing the windshield.

Does this mean, that no clips existed in 1967?

What would one use for a replacement windshield gasket & hardware for 1967 convertible? Would a 1968-9 convertible gasket, clips & lock strip work?

Mine gasket is hard & leaks along the bottom. It also has some rigged up lower trim the dose not slide into the lock slot. I know this is not correct, as this is not what my first '67 had back in the early 70's.

Yep! That's the way to go. The '67 one-year-only setup is really pretty cruddy at the best of times. Pretty sure (but not 100% certain) that '68-'76 Dart/Valiant square 2-door hardtop (i.e., not sedan, not Duster/Demon/Dart Sport) gasket-lockstrip-clips are all interchangeable with convertible.
