Well, my hooptie Valiant runs and drives, but it sprung a leak in the heater core during the test drive. I doubt I'll need the heater this weekend so it will be bypassed until I can replace the core.

The 2 1/4" straight pipe really isn't that loud, but I don't think the wife would appreciate the sound for the 70+ mile drive to Woodburn.

Point of interest, They do tech inspections in the staging lanes.
They will call a class up to the lanes (DO NOT GO UP BEFORE THEY CALL YOUR CLASS). The usual order has been Inline/Flat Head first. So be advised be there by 8:00 AM, and be ready when they call the class.

Well, took apart the 4 link to put in the new springs (actually know the rates on these). In the process of racing on a Thursday night I had managed to blow out a shock and u-joint. So trying to get everything ready for Saturday, got to show off to the old man what she can do. Hope to so you all there!

Save that bottle of absinthe, MiDi. We'll have our worst interior contest yet - with school coming up, I'll be lucky to put in regular oil changes on my car, let alone any serious work. ;)
I got my dizzy installed today, and she's running fine. Got a battery holddown, all that's left is to snag some zip-ties to strap my overflow tank to something so it's not just hanging between the grill and the radiator.
I know I'm clear for the whole weekend with one job, but I may have to work the other on Sunday (the schedule still isn't posted) so we'll see what happens for that.. but I'll be there all Saturday for sure!
See you guys then..

Congrats on the finals in your first race, Stephanie! A perfect light is also a wonderful thing.

Thanks for the pic, Ceej.

Best,

Lou
