Hello boys!! I need to connect a black wire to the "KEY SIDE" of the ignition coil ballast resistor or any other 12v service that is turned on and off by the ignition. This is power for an electric choke in a 64 Dart 225 slant 6. I can't decipher the electrical diagram and figure this out. Can any one help?

Do you have a test light or voltmeter?

Do you see the Ballast resistor on the fire wall?
unplug the side with the brown wires, turn the key to "on" and check that connector for power, using your test light.

Yup, do as Doc says. Pull both connectors off the ballast resistor, turn the ignition key to the "on" position, and test for voltage in both connectors. Only one will have power. That's the one you want to hook the choke wire to.

Yes, that is the ballast resistor.
