2095191 is on the front casing of the 'newer' alternator & 2095192 is on the rear casing of the 'older alternator.

I do have another number from the 'newer' alternator, it is:
3874271
5205

It is printed like that, w/ the 5205 right below the 387...

Again, I might be wrong about the 'newer' alternator...it may be a different year. Since I don't know how to upload photos, I'd like to send you a Private Msg w/ some photos - those will speak better for me.

Yep, that '88 alternator is going to fit right on your '67's brackets. But there are a few things to consider before you go this direction. Is the '88's alternator really in better shape than the one on your '67? The '88 was built 21 years ago; do you know the history of this alternator? Also, the '88 would've come with a higher-amp alternator than your '67. This can overload the wiring and cause an electrical fire if you're not careful to do the necessary upgrades. You could swap the '88 alternator onto the '67 as a test, to see if the charging system starts working, but if you intend to leave the '88 alternator on there, you'd want to upgrade the wiring and the voltage regulator.

The '88 alternator will work for awhile with your '67 regulator if you ground one of the '88 alternator's two field terminals. It doesn't matter which of the two fields gets grounded and which one connects to the car's field wire.

Thanks Dan.
Gonna give it a shot. I dunno what the condition of any of my alternators is...I guess that I'll have to connect each one to see.
One last question - Did that P/N indicate a 1988 alternator?

(removed unsuccessful photo link efforts)

Photo links generally have to be privately hosted. Trying to link off a commercial site is difficult, as you've discovered. They don't like it being done that way, for it uses bandwidth in a manner other than they intended. A photo of an alternator that looks like yours doesn't tell us much we don't already know, anyhow; if we could see a photo of your actual alternator that might tell us something, but for now, swap it on and give it a try.
