Just so long as my Red Light fever isn't too contagious yet...

I dare somebody to cut a worse red than I handed to Stephanie!

Who leaves at -.120? My brakes musta done a creep on me! Yeah that's it! Not chasing a car down at the 330 when the tree started down!

Sigh.

Hey.. just think, if you hadn't red lighted on me, I wouldn't have gotten a chance at my perfect light.

MiDi, are we gonna have our delayed worst-interior contest at Medford, then?

I have a prize! I retrieved the dog dish my car shed as I returned from the exhaust shop. It's been run over at least once. It needs either a base or a chain for use as a medallion. Think Mercedes (or VW) emblem on a chain around one's neck only not.

And Midi... If you drive the speed limit you'll probably save at least $20 in gas.

Hey man, what's your beef? Had I known new rings were not available for one reason or another I would have donated the set I have on the shelf. Where is your contribution? Maybe saying/writing nothing at all would be more appropriate.
OK, how about a slogan for the tshirts he printed up with his piston ring money?

"mentos... the freshmaker"

We'll need some celebrities to judge the Worst Interior contest!

I think PJ and Doc would be perfectly neutral judges.

I excuse myself, due to getting stuck to MiDi's front bench repeatedly!

Once the judges accept their charge, and have an opportunity to check out the plush accomodations our two contestant's cars offer, then, and only then, will it be decided who will earn the right to wear the dog dish! :D

Thanks for the award reminder. It's on board the vanilla hooptie.

Now to make up judging sheets. Any suggestions on categories? So far I have general appearance for seats, door panels, floor area and roof area. Odor, adhesion (likelihood of sticking to the car) and function.

rember when u frist saw my car joshie, there was no springs in the front bench, when i frist sat down on it i fell thru to the floor. i used 3 cushions and a sheet of plywood to hold me up. i got a seat from josh and used the springs to re-spring my seat so atleast i can sit on it now.

I think most of us can understand the constraints of money and that we may have to cut corners, some others maybe not so much. You guys have done a very good job getting Midi's car on the road again i wish i was closer to have lent a helping hand. best of luck at the races!

I just skimmed all the posts. Did you ever find the cause of the thrust bearing going bad? How many miles was on this motor? Balloning torque converters have been known to cause this problem and if it was that it will happen again.
