While I have been out of the Slant game for about two years now (not keeping up on the hobby basically, w/o my car) I had never seen one of these before, ever:

It says it's Australian. Bizarre thats for sure... or are these old news? Like I said I've been out of the hobby, so I don't know if maybe these have been around. Anyhow, haha. wierd.

ebay short runner 4bbl here

And the Pentastar one here

I was at Pentastar this afternoon to pick up a few parts. Had a bit of a conversation with one of the guys about if a rubber rocker cover gasket was as good as a cork one! Anyway got their last rubber in stock. Will try it later on.

Well that was my thinking. They didn't try and get me to buy a cork one but did say they used rubber for aluminum covers and cork for the standard pressed steel.

But like I told them I will try it and see.

Sorry for the thread hijack
