I am using a dual master cylinder for the brakes on my mudbogger. Each resevoir feeds one front caliper. (no rear brakes) I wanted the safety of 2 separate brake circuits.

The small side bled easily and works fine,,,but the large side is always soggy. Am I missing something?

Soggy? Specify.

Could be a residual pressure valve issue? But, that would be worse on the small (front) reservoir it seems. Is this a drum-drum MC?

It is supposedly a Corvette manual M/C for 4 wheel discs (66-76?)......but the local NAPA had it on the shelf.....Its more likely a truck manual cyl

Its been on the car a couple of years....bled to death. Stops fine...but the pedal is soft.

If it was sitting on the shelf for years it probably has an internal leak. The seals may have stuck in the bore and ripped the edge.

Also, if we're talking about two reservoirs of unequal size, that suggests to me that it's a disc/drum master. Many of those have different hydraulic characteristics in the front/rear sections. If yours has such differences, I would think that could create a weird/soft pedal.
