Will the A904 hold up behind a 225 bored .060 over, oversized valves, fuel injection and a P1SC supercharger. Not sure on the horsepower and torque numbers yet?

If I remember correct, my Grandfathers 65 Dart, with a 273 V-8 had a 904 trans. Several teens learned to drive in this car, and we drove it quite hard for years. The trans ran well over 100,000 miles, never had the fluid changed, and never had any problems.

Put in V8 guts, good friction materials and a good shift kit or valve body and it should be fine. I built one for a nitrous fed 225. It hasn't been put in the car yet. Guys use 904s behind built small block strokers so I'm not worried.

They have held up to 600+HP in many racecars. You will be fine. For insurance, but the V8 guts in if you're worried.

I've got one behind a 105over,10.6-1 225 built motor with nitrous and gotta say the thing rocks.Lighter then a 727. Contact Keith @ 727 Trans. Specilites.Slantzilla recommened him to me and it was well worth the money. The thing shifts as solid as a 4 speed, full manual reverse valve body. You gotta use a real good cooler for long life. :D
