Wow, now thats some crappy gas milage! I was getting 13 mpg on a 73 holley 1920 carb, then I said screw it, and I super sixed it. Now I am getting 17 mpg city! Maybe rebuild your carb, and do a tune up on it (if you havent already done so) with good parts and see what happens.
