Just wondering out loud if it's possible to fit many body styles with one header - I know the A-body version will likely be the most popular application, but it seems to me that there may be some F-body slants out there too. (besides mine)

OK, now I feel a little stupid. Thanks that would work.
Don't feel that way. I did think that would be your issue  , I was thinking of the flange and wondering why in the world couldn't he get this to work! Working together to solve problems, that's what the slant6 forum is all about 8)

Basically, if the header will fit a 63-66 car, it should fit almost anything, including later A-bodies and F-bodies.

Whoa, how'd I miss all this? I'd definitely be interested in that for my 64 Valiant.

A "drive by" report would be informative...
Are they a big shop doing a lot of different OTS headers or a small, speciality header builder??
Drive by in your SL6 car and show them the engine compartment. May-be you get get a set of header out of the deal.

Me, I drive a truck ('77) and headers are sometimes listed for them specifically, anyone know why early A body headers wouldn't work for me? I'd like to order a set from these guys if they can get a production run that will fit trucks also...

I spoke with those guys at wysco and they are really cool and want our feed back. The 626 number i dailed said it was no good but the 1-800 number worked well, the guy to speak to is Joesph, cool dude.
I'm going to keep after them and get my headers from them. Just another company we need to support to get the parts we need. I guess I'm on another cursade...............
This should help.

I'd like to see something along the lines of those old Doug's headers for the slant; they were about the coolest headers I've ever seen for one.

Maybe someone should suggest to them that as long as they're going to make headers, perhaps they should offer a header flange seperate. There are a few of us that have, or plan to build, a one-off car or hot rod.
