Don't forget the awards banquet at the Edgewater inn at Gatlinburg,Tenn. - the second weekend in February 2003. (Feb 7 & 8th + Sunday the 9th for those who want to stay over)
We get to crown our 2002 national champion and discuss next year to see if any changes need to be made to the 2003 racing program.

This will be a lot of fun and good friends getting together and I'm sure a lot of shop talk.
This event is open to all slantsix people and families whether you race or you are a race fan.
A great way to have some fun and get together with some great SL6 people.

Hey Guy's I just returned from a short get-away with the wife in Gatlinburg.
We had a great time, beautiful this time of year also. We did have a visitor about midnight Saturday night, a black Bear stopped by our cabin & left his footprints on the front porch. Man he was big.

Sounds like everyone is going to have a blast! Dad and Mom are planning on attending but unfortunately the wife is due Feb 17th so no out of town travel for us! Oh well there is always next year.
Everyone who can plan on being there and swapping racing stories. Gatlinburg is beautiful and especially that time of year. I just love snow!!

There is a pool, hot tub restaurant, and many attractions close to the Hotel.

Schedule is to have Friday an open day with a "social" in the hospitality room that night.
Saturday morning would be open, Saturday Lunch would be our meeting time where we give out awards and discuss any issues or needs for the 2003 season.

The rest of the weekend will be open to what people want to do.
This will be a great "winter break" so make plans to attend and call to reserve a room ASAP.
