Is there a huge difference between a super 6 set up with SPLIT tube headers as opposed to a SIX INTO ONE tube system?

I have a buddy with a true dual system off of Clifford headers in a Dart. It sounds really good, but made it a royal pain in the azz to work on the motor/trans.

As far as performance goes, I really don't think you'd be able to tell much difference between the two.
