Hi All,

I have seen straight cut timing gear on ebay for the slant for about $350-400.(AUD)

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VALIANT-SLANT-6- ... .m20.l1116

Just wondering if it is worth it for a new engine build, or better to stick with the old rollermaster @ a third the price?

Has anyone had experience with these?
I imagine it would be better for the long term, as in timing chain stretch sloppyness.

Would it pose any issue to use this on an Alloy Block?

Please advise a slant newb.

We've discussed this before. I'm staying with a timing chain.
