Well I've put about 1000 miles on my motor.I pulled the valve cover to recheck the valves and found what looks like moisture mixed with the oil in the top of the valve cover. The oil on the dipstick looks perfect and there were no traces of the white foamy stuff on top of the head or down in the push rod tubes.I have a PCV valve for normal street driving and a evac system for hard use .The evac system has on/off valves going to each header.I do have 3 baffles in the top portion of the valve cover for each hose and that's where the acculmation was.Is this normal? I'm using distilled water,1qt red coolant and water wetter.I have run the motor pretty hard with the evac valves shut.I don't think there is any coolant leaks in the motor because I not finding anything in the oil . As luck would have it I spend almost $10,000.00 and the next thing I know is the motor shop closes due to serious illness and he's unreachable.I had retourqued the head @500 miles(75lbs).The head gasket is a SCE Titan head gasket($$$$$)and everything looked great.Should I not worry ,has anyone else had this problem. :([/img]

Does it get very cool in Prescott? Do you drive short trips, or long commute? I ask because it could just be condensation and the engine is not getting hot for a long enough period of time to burn it off.

The weather is cooling off but ussally around 70-80 degree when I drive it (heater delete). It comes up to temp (205) in about 3 miles. I commute about 15 miles one way to work and the thing is buzzing about 3200 rpm's for the trip.I had the valve cover off a couple of months ago to retourque the head bolts and it was fine. There is no trace of water in the oil. It seemed to be toward the top only of the cover.I guess I'll put some more miles on it and pull it in another 500 miles and see what it looks like.It just make me really nervous seeing this.

are you consuming any antifreeze? is your engine reaching operating temperature? if the answers are no and yes, you are in the clear.

Did you say you spent almost $10,000 on your slant rebuild? Wow, what did they do to it? How much power does it put out?
