I just finished a badly needed suspension restoration on the Dart. Corrected a castor problem (-6 deg. Rt. & -3 deg. L. side) with some cutting & welding, and eccentric upper control arm bushings.
This baby was a great wallowing hog. I found mismatched torsion bars, worn out bushings, and 2" extra arched springs over stock.
I installed the following parts: ADCO 150 antisway bar, all new bushings, new Firm Feel .940" torsion bars, MOPAR sub frame connectors, new six leaf standard ride hight springs & bushings. Front end alignment to take place on Tuesday morning next week.
I just got back from a little test drive. Gezz, what a difference 100 pounds of parts make... The wallowing Hog has left the farm. The stance is just right, flat cornering, and a bit stiffer rear.
