OK here is the low down - I have a bunch of normal rockers -and I think that clifford sorted through theirs to get the ratio

Ideas? :?

Someone one the board bought the 1.6:1 Clifford rocker arms. They are not Chrysler rocker arms. They are some kind of cast or forged arm with adjusting screws placed at an odd angle that will affect the ratio depending upon the placement of the adjusting screw. My inner engineer cringed when I saw them.

The discussion was in this thread: http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30156

The guy that bought a set sent me pictures. They are not what's pictured on Clifford's web site. I'm not having luck finding the pictures though.

What are you trying to accomplish? Lots of valve lift with a short duration?

Clifford's showing one thing and sending something else? And that something-else is poorly made?

I'm shocked. Shocked, I am!

I believe that your trying to ask if you have a lot of rockers can you do what clifford did and get a 1.6 ratio?
I'm assuming that the measure through hundereds of rockers and get a set that is close to a 1.6 ratio. Mine I've measured out are pretty close all in all but come in around 1.4X which is a little lower than there suppose to be huh?
What would make more sense to me and something I might try instead of roller rockers is to cut out the bushing in the middle and have an offset one but in to achive whatever I want. Now it may not be possible to move it that much for material vs strength issue or something but I will have to get out the micros over winter break and see what we got.

I once modified a stock rocker to a 1.55 ratio. I haven't tried running it yet.

I do have this sextet of 1.6-ratio Gotha rockers, which bring a smile to my face because they're such a nice casting. Just for that, I wish they were still available. (Fanie Gerber, please come to the nearest paging telephone? Fanie Gerber to a paging telephone, please...) though I still would want tip-end oiling.
