It'll work fine, provided the torque converter nose fits the crank pilot (you'll need the years for the motor and tranny). However, you need to get an oil pan that'll fit your car complete with an oil pick-up tube that'll work with that pan. Also, you'll need to change out the oil dipstick & tube. I'd also suggest saving the bracketry off your existing engine (motor mounts, alternator bracket, power steering bits) as there may be some difference between the bits from the van and the bits from your car. I'm actually just about to start building a motor from a van to put into my Dart.

As far as the rear end goes, I can't say. You'll need to measure the width of the rear and the distance between the spring perches and compare it to the rear in the car. If it fits, you'll need to shorten the drive shaft depending on what rear you're replacing and what you're replacing it with.

Hope this helps,

Nat

Hang onto the truck/van oil pan, pickup tube, dipstick, motor mounts, etc... Those are hard to find and I am sure you will be able to sell them to someone with a truck or van.

I'm pretty sure van rears only fit vans (not sure re. years, etc., but for a span of years the driveshaft was shifted off-center to make room for the right foot of the driver).
