Converting 3 speed to floor shift? Nonsynchro out of my 72. No mounting pads for the shifter.

72 Duster it came with the non sychroed (sp) 1st gear 3 speed. It was a column shift from the factory. I was wanting to drop it in the 74 Duster floorshift car.

It doesn't have the mounting boss like this 3-speed in a '73 Dart Sport?

Concerning vans, Hurst made a 3-speed floor shifter which bolts to the crossmember and floor with brackets, but without a tailhousing with the bosses in a car application, I think you're out of luck.

Nope. It has a bolt on cover on the top of the tranny.

I was contemplating puttin it in the 74 ( I have a 3 speed shifter from some Mopar) behind a 318 built for economy.
